In this self-paced course you will navigate through various videos and resources that will help counselors, parents, and educators to create an inclusive and support camp environment.
By the end of this course, viewers will be able to:
- Understand various social communication, cognitive, and behavioral differences associated with autism and differences in sensory input/output experienced by neurodivergent individuals
- Identify simple strategies to create a supportive and inclusive environment to support all children in a camp setting
- Recognize various ways of safely responding to challenging behavior while supporting the individual access their needs
